Student Orientation

Students admitted into the University College are taken through a process of orientation on their academic life, their social life and the University College’s administrative structure. Students are exposed to the various dynamics of tertiary education and given a vivid understanding of their new level of education.

During the orientation, students are warmly welcomed to the unique and dynamic environment of the University College. They are encouraged to utilize all the facilities available to the fullest and harness every potential in them. The minds of students are prepared for course work, practical work, industrial training and any extracurricular activity.

Students are equally given the opportunity to make further enquiries about their academic and extracurricular activities.

The KUC Campus experience cushions students and enables them to be positive about the general outlook of tertiary education during the orientation.

Faculty members and the administrators of the University College are present during the orientation of students to show their interest in the affairs of the students. This gives students a sense of belongingness; a feeling of warmth and togetherness.
