The Registrar is responsible for the general administration of the University College and the Secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board and all Boards and Standing Committees of the University College. The Registrar is responsible for implementing policies taken by competent bodies. He is also responsible to either directly or through his various assistants, who serve as secretaries of committees or as schedule officers in different branches of the Registry, to see to it that all University bodies, office members as the case may be, are made aware of the relevant regulations and policy guidelines on any issue that may arise.
The Registrar of the University College is Dr Norbert Adja Kwabena Adjei. He holds a PhD degree in Development Studies, Human Resource Development option, MPhil in Health, Physical Education and Recreation and Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Human Anatomy and Physiology, all from the University of Cape-Coast.
Prior to working at KAAF University College, he was the Senior Industrial Liaison Officer at Takoradi Technical University. He was the Chief Sports and Recreation Administrator at Takoradi Technical University and served the University in several capacities; as a member of the Academic Board, National President for Polytechnic Administrators’ Association of Ghana (PAAG), Council Member (representing Convocation), etc.
He has attended several seminars, workshops and courses and has undertaken several projects under the Teaching and Learning Innovation Fund ((TALIF) a World Bank project for tertiary institutions in Ghana).
