Penn State University Faculty Donates Library Books to KAAF University College

Professor Anthony Owusu Agyapong and some faculty members of the Ogontz Campus of Penn State University, USA, have donated fourteen (14) boxes of books to KAAF University College’s library through Dr. Frederick Addo-Abedi, the Rector of the University College.

The formal handing over of the library books to KAAF University College took place on Tuesday, 10th January 2017 at the Conference Room of KAAF University College. The Rector of KAAF University College, Dr. Frederick Addo-Abedi, handed over the library books to the Founder of KAAF University College, Mr. Michael Aidoo, on behalf of Professor Anthony Owusu Agyapong and his colleagues at the Ogontz Campus of Penn State University.

During the handing over ceremony, Dr. Addo-Abedi informed the staff and students present that the donation of the library books to KAAF University College was as a result of his discussions with Professor Owusu Agyapong and his colleagues to donate some books to KAAF University College.

During his recent visit to the United States, Dr. Addo-Abedi visited a friend, Professor Owusu Agyapong at the Ogontz Campus of Penn State University and discussed with him the possibility of his University donating some books to KAAF University College’s Library.

The Founder of KAAF University College received the library books on behalf of KAAF University College and expressed his sincerest appreciation to Professor Owusu Agyapong and his colleagues at the Ogontz Campus of Penn State University for donating the library books to the University College’s library.

He stated further that he was optimistic KAAF University College will continue to enjoy goodwill from Professor Owusu Agyapong and his colleagues. ‘It is our hope that we can continue to enjoy your continual support and eventually establish a partnership between Penn State University and KAAF University College', the Founder said.

The library books donated to KAAF University College covers subject areas in Business Administration, Law, Nursing and Engineering. The details of the categories of books are as follows: Accounting (9), Management (52), Nursing (21), Banking and Finance (15), Marketing (3), Mathematics (2), Computer Science (28), Electrical/Electronics Engineering (3), Mechanical Engineering (28), Economics (14), Psychology (15), and Law (8). The total number of books donated to KAAF University College by Ogontz Campus of Penn State University, USA, is 198.
